It Takes a Village Community Outreach and Advocacy is a grassroots organization serving the Halifax Regional Municipality. We provide direct support, advocacy, and essential resources to individuals and families facing barriers.

Inspired by Community Need
Our work began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a grassroots response to urgent local challenges.

Growing with the Community
Through the dedication of volunteers and supporters, we’ve supplied individuals with essential care items, hygiene products, clothing, backpacks for students, and laptops to seniors to strengthen community connection.
