ITAVCOA AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS

It Takes A Village has been dedicated to supporting families, youth, and communities since 2021. Over the past four years, we’ve grown, learned, and made a meaningful impact—locally and globally—thanks to the support of our volunteers, partners, and community members.


Since August 2020 -2024 December we have supported 15,869 individuals and 61 organizations, 61 Events

  • Represented Civil Society Organizations in a meeting with the Honorable Kamal Khera, Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities

  • Guest Speaker at a Cancer Awareness Event 2024

  • MC for Inter-Partner Violence and Domestic Violence events 2025

  • Supporter of the Annual Moose Hide Campaign in Halifax, NS

  • Business Panelist for BYDMP in 2023 and 2024

  • Supported summer student programs 2023 and 2024

  • Engaged with students in the United States and Canada

  • Guest Speaker at the Horizons Fellowship Breakfast 2025

  • Eco-tech Program - Students -Ipad, Cell Phones, Chromebooks. internet access

  • Laptops for Seniors Program – Laptop, and Mouse for Seniors

  • We Care Computer Technology Devices  (People with Disabilities) Monitors, Hard drive, Mouse, and Keyboard  

  • Veterans Appreciation Certificate Program– Once a year on Facebook or in person

  • Cancer Support Program -Wigs and We Care Computer Technology Devices   

  • Youth Volunteer Program - training youth on community initiatives and events
